A Day out for Charity!

Time for the latest update guys! We've completed our 1st ever charity event! In line with our Vision Perfect 10 we decided to work together with the Children’s Aid Society as they provide care & protection for children & teenagers between the ages of 4 - 18.

This event was truly an exciting opportunity for our staff to mingle around with the children & facilitators of the home and to understand more about the generous work that they have embarked on. Providing children with a safe & carefree environment is something notable & truly noble as not many of us can say that we can do the same. As such, we @ ERCI are trying to emulate these facilitators and do our bit by providing an enjoyable day out for the children as well as a break for the facilitators. In total, we brought 43 children out for the activity and had an amazing time mingling with both them and the facilitators!
We started off the day by arriving at the home and bringing the children out for a hearty lunch at Sakae Sushi. Many Thanks to Sakae Sushi for sponsoring the lunch. After which we proceeded with a movie screening of something light and fun that we hoped the children would enjoy - Mr Popper's Penguins starring the one & only, Jim Carrey!
At the end of the movie, sadly it came to the end of the day. As a parting gift, we @ ERCI gave each of the children a small token to help them kick start their future. A piggy bank to encourage them to start saving now!
This was truly a great experience for all our staff to be involved with lending a helping hand with the people & children from the children’s aid society. This will be the first in a line of charity events and we hope that both our staff & students will begin to participate in such charity events!

If any students are interested kindly contact enquiry@erci.edu.sg
alternatively head to our website http://www.erci.edu.sg/

This Event was Organised by ERC Institute & co-sponsored by Sakae Sushi

SCDF Roadshow!

Running concurrently on the same day as our Charity Event & Suntec Roadshow, we @ ERC Institute devoted a portion of our time towards providing educational opportunities for individuals serving their National service in the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). In this event, we showcased all our higher learning programs together with our foreign language courses that will be open to NSF’s upon completion of their National Service. This has really been an eye-opening experience for us firstly because we were able to connect with these national servicemen serving their country & also because it was the first time we ran 3 events on a single day and it was a fulfilling experience!
